The conference comes in the context of the rapidly evolving dynamics and the emerging technologies of payments in the Arab World. This evolution, which is fuelled by banks, payment service providers, telecom operators and regulators, in addition to new financial technology market players – FinTechs - can be witnessed across the region. The innovation is further fuelled by financial technology companies, which are starting to grab a piece of the payments pie, whether individually or through partnerships with banks and telecom operators.
