In Jordan, the majority of employees in the private sector work six days a week

A new face-to-face survey from Arab Advisors Group provides an overview of employees’ working hours, workdays and weekends. The survey targeted employees of different industries in Jordan. The face-to-face survey was conducted in March and April 2019 and revealed that around 88% of full time employees have a one day weekend.

Arab Advisors Group’s survey report, "Employees’ Weekend Face-to-face Survey in Amman" was released on April 25, 2019 and provides the results of a major comprehensive face-to-face survey in Amman, Jordan. The survey results encompass answers from employees of different industries. Arab Advisors Group’s survey provides an overview of the employees’ working hours, workdays and weekends. The survey probes the respondents’ satisfaction levels with number of workdays, working hours and weekends. This survey report can be purchased from Arab Advisors Group for US$ 2,200. The survey was conducted in 11 areas in Amman. These areas are: Queen Rania Street (University Street), Shmeisani, Sahab-industrial area, Tabarbour, Khalda, Um Uthaina, Sweifieh, Downtown, Marka, Al Mahatta and Boulevard-Abdali. The survey was conducted with respondents above 22 years old. The report has 47 pages.

Respondents were randomly targeted in areas understudy. The survey results encompass answers from 556 respondents that passed rigorous quality control checks. Quality control was conducted by Arab Advisors Group. The survey yields a confidence level of 99% with a margin of error of 5%.
