“By October 2015, out of the 165 analyzed games, the majority of games were published in the Arabic language with 92 games total; 75 of which were published by regional companies and 17 were published by international companies. English games came next with 57 games all published by regional companies. The number of games that were published in both the Arabic and English language stood at 16 games, 11 of which are published by regional companies while 5 by international mobile games companies. “Ms. Noor Al Asmar, Arab Advisors Senior Research Analyst said.
“19.4% of the 165 games analyzed were categorized as Arcade games. Trivia games followed with 16.9% of games under this category. Sports was the least popular with only 2 games under this category by October 2015.” Ms. Al Asmar added.
