Under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, the Electronic & Mobile Payments in the Arab World Conference commenced on April 21st 2015 in Amman at the Four Seasons Hotel. The participants will deliberate during the conference the ongoing trends in electronic and mobile payments in the Arab World.
Amman, 21st April 2015 - HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, President of the Royal Scientific Society and Chairman of Board of Trustees, inaugurated the Electronic & Mobile Payments in the Arab World Conference taking place in Amman at the Four Seasons Hotel. The conference brings together top regional and global executives.
During Her Royal Highness’ key note speech, HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan said ”It is a great pleasure to welcome you all to Amman for this cutting edge discussion on Electronic and Mobile Payments in the Arab World. It is always a privilege to host the Arab Advisors Group here in Jordan as I have a deep and heartfelt appreciation for all you do in terms of building networks for our region’s commercial and technological development. You are very much valued by all of us who seek progress through innovation and peaceful development through science and technology.”
HRH added, “It could perhaps seem strange that we are here in Amman, discussing the future of electronic and mobile commerce in the Arab World, while all around us, so many of our fellow Arabs are caught up in political and military turmoil that seems to get evermore complex, and evermore threatening to innocent communities and populations. It must seem to so many of them that they have been ousted from the world of technology and progress that we are all celebrating and formulating today”.
In this regard, HRH emphasized the importance of nurturing and supporting a truly scientific education for our students and young people. HRH said; “I believe that Science is so much more than technology, for technology is born out of science and out of the scientific mindset that we must support if we are to succeed in the decades to come”.
Jawad Jalal Abbassi, Arab Advisors Founder and General Manager said "The Electronic and Mobile Payments in the Arab World Conference comes in line with the fast changing dynamics of payments in the Arab World. According to Arab Advisors Group’s recent surveys, substantial e-commerce users are turning to the electronic and mobile payments given the ease and comfort those payment methods provide.”
“We thank HRH Princess Sumaya for her continuous support.
