FTTH in MENA reached a defining milestone across the Arab World where all 19 MENA countries analyzed offered such services, a testament to the region's accelerating broadband ambitions. Alongside expansions, the economics of FTTH shifted dramatically; residential FTTH is becoming increasingly affordable across MENA, as average monthly fees for 100 Mbps residential FTTH dropped by nearly 28% in just over a year. Yet the full picture was far more complex; ISPs in nearly half of the 19 countries analyzed still imposed connection and/or installation fees on top of monthly charges, averaging at US$ 23.47.” said Hiba Rabadi, Managing Director of Arab Advisors Group. “Tracking MENA FTTH for over a decade gives a perspective that a single-year study simply cannot replicate. We have built an unmatched longitudinal depth; the combination of accuracy, comparability, and actionable insight provided in this report continues to distinguish us as the region's most trusted source of telecom market intelligence.

Built on a consistent methodology refined across multiple editions dating back to 2012, this report goes beyond conventional price listings to deliver relative pricing status assessments, GDP-adjusted affordability calculations at both per capita and per household levels, a detailed mapping of connection and/or installation fee practices, and comprehensive benchmarking of download speeds, all across 74 ISPs operating in 19 MENA countries. Each data point has been independently collected, verified, and cross-referenced against primary sources, giving clients a level of precision and comparability that secondary research simply cannot deliver.
